It's always very difficult to deal with. But it's also important to realize that life is big and crazy and full of surprises. You may have missed an opportunity, and it will hurt, but there are so many more doors and even more opportunities in the future. While nothing may be able take away the hurt of missing something big, with time you may realize what you thought you wanted may mot have been, and that you have made it as far as you have even though you missed out. Maybe something even better has come along the way. Keep your heart and mind open as you move forward and you may find way more opportunities and open doors than you can imagine! It is hard, but try not to get stuck on what could have been. This will cement you in the past and will fog your mind to things that are coming. Move forward, not backwards. Regret will pull you back. There is absolutely nothing you can do about something in the past. If you keep your thoughts there, you will lock yourself down and prevent you from exploring and opening yourself to the opportunities that may be waiting for you. Life moves forward, move with it. There is so much more beauty and opportunity out there, go find it!
